About Covid-19 Resources
Covid-19 has changed the way we do business, the way we teach, and the way students learn. Businesses have to find new ways to engage customers and educators have to find new ways to engage students. While there may be setbacks for businesses, educators, and students, there will also be opportunities to change how business is done and how education is delivered in the future. Businesses may fail, but others will eventually take their place for fill new needs. Below are a few resources to help navigate through the pandemic and and adapt to a new normal for now.
Resources for Business & Industry
$500 million Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant program for eligible small business owners and nonprofits who have been impacted by COVID-19 and the health and safety restrictions. Grants up to $25,000 will be given to eligible small businesses and nonprofits to help cover expenses during the pandemic. The new website, www.CAReliefGrant.com, is now live! Applications for Round 1 will open on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, and close end of day on Friday, January 8. Round 2 will be announced in the near future.
The California Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) across the state in conjunction with the SBA have been leading efforts to help businesses access COVID-19 resources. Below are some resources from the available through the SBDCs:
